Anna is a very prolific writer and still active in the fandom. She's very good at portraying heartache and equally good at coming up with original scenarios that link seamlessly with what we know of the Colonies' past. Unfortunately, she likes creating rifts between Apollo and his father and/or the rest of the fleet with Apollo as the wronged party. "Mapping the Genome" (found on her website) is a good example - flawless writing, brilliant research... and lovingly portrayed interpersonal conflicts. Still, I've read all her stories and can recommend them all save the third part of the "Mask Sequence" which makes me incoherently furious for reasons I don't want to go into here. |
