| Review: |
I have to admit that Cynthia's portrayal of the characters in this novel has always been too emotional for me, plus I felt that the two OMCs she introduced took away too much focus from Holmes and Watson. I still like "The Problem" for the fact that it has a very long and involved storyline and for the author's efforts at fitting it into the Victorian era. It is rare that an writer in this fandom has the patience to show so much of the follow-up and the repercussions on their daily lives that such a change in the their relationship would bring about. I very much regret that its sequel, "Phantoms of Stonehenge", is no longer available online. |
