| Review: |
Osheen Nevoy's grasp of Tolkien's universe - and especially Gondor - is unparalleled. Reading this novel is like finding a lost work of J. R. R. Tolkien himself. She concentrates on Boromir, and by necessity the other characters are often reduced to cameo appearances. As a Boromir fan, you don't miss them, though, especially since she makes Minas Tirith come alive with her words. This story is truly about Boromir's White City, and it is as beautiful as the picture he painted of her that night in Lothlórien. |
