- I Shot the Shaman -- This is a
fic derived from a filk derived from the original song by Bob Marley, and
later by Eric Clapton. Full of drama, angst and H/C, this one involves
both our shaman and our sentinel getting shot in separate incidents, a
hijacked truckload of guns that are hitting the streets, and an overwhelmed
college freshman.

-- Filk (7K)
- Everyone Needs a Break Now & Then
-- A short, little ficlet showing that even Blair Sandburg needs to turn
his brain off every now and then.
- The Witch of November -- At the
shores of Lake Michigan, Blair remembers a long-lost friend; to the strains
of Gordon Lightfoot's The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

pranks on Cascade’s Major Crimes detectives? And who will be the first
*real* victim when those pranks become crimes in truth? A two-part ficlet
from Blair's POV.

Guide faces a lonely silence. This is an angsty piece with a good dose
of comfort at the end.

it really be possible to go to hell and back? And whose nightmare is it,
anyway? Inspired by Alice Cooper's song of the same name. Angst, H/C.

A remake of Alice Cooper's No More Mr. Nice Guy. Sung by Jim.

their way. Originally published in the fanzine, Sensory Overload 8.
- Synth-Sense (aka 'the Rest Stop fic')
-- Is it possible to synthesize a sentinel? Immediately after the events
of TSbyBS, Blair is tracked down by a woman from Boston who talks him into
taking a road trip with her. If only he knew her real intentions. Originally
posted on CascadeTimes.
- Saved by McBreakfast? -- Blair
makes an unexpected, life-saving stop at McDonald's. Originally posted
on CascadeTimes.
- The Oath -- A little problem yields
pleasant reminders about friendship and partnership. It is a two-way street,
after all.
- The Taper Caper -- Jim returns
home unexpectedly to find Blair in a pinch and on a roll.
- The Magic in a Moment -- Christmas
Holiday Fic. Jim finds the spirit of Christmas, and is able to appreciate
it all the more when he gets the chance to enlighten Blair.
- Right
of Birth -- A continuation of Murder 101. Norman
Ventriss is a powerful man with a very good, very well paid lawyer. A lack
of hard evidence has resulted in clearing his son, Brad, of murder charges
in the death of Dennis Chung. Now Brad is out to "teach the teacher,"
intent on showing Blair Sandburg how the right of birth sets everyone's
place in society. What he fails to realize is that Blair and Jim have a
right of birth of their own.... (69K)
- Whether 'tis Nobler -- A Shakespearean
tragedy that puts Blair in the hands of a failed actress who has lost her
grip on sanity.
- The Phantom Truck -- A creepy-silly
Supernatural/Sentinel crossover inspired by real life.
- Just a Twinge -- Jim & Blair
discuss what they need to do in order to keep us fan fic folks happy.
- A Heroes' Brotherhood -- A soldier's
funeral, a cop's funeral, a pensive Guide, and a confident Sentinel.
- Outnumb3red -- Crossver with Numb3rs.
When Cascade's Sentinel is outnumbered in LA and a lone Sandburg becomes
Guide to too many, how do the Eppes brothers figure into the equation?
Available as pdf and html. Note: This story was spawned from a challenge
posted by Crosswork. Intended to be a round robin, Katfairy took chapter
3, but I ran with the rest.
- Blair Sandburg Goes to Hell --
After a three week absence, Blair Sandburg walked into the bullpen at Cascade's
Major Crimes division wearing his arm in a sling. This alone was enough
to turn heads and conjure questions. But when his answer to those questions
began with the sentence, "well, it all started when I went to Hell,"
he was grateful he would only have to tell his tale once. Humor.
- (LJ link) Eternal
Sentinel -- Vampires are on the prowl in Cascade, but one of them
is not hunting for blood. Can Jim deny the calling of a real, ancient sentinel?
- (LJ links) Into
the Ocean & 2AM
-- Blair's entanglement with the daughter of a Mafioso is seen first
through his eyes, in the song-fic titled Into the Ocean, and then
through Jim's, in the filk, 2AM. Angst & H/C.
- (LJ link) Into
the Ocean, et.al. -- Blair's entanglement with the daughter of
a Mafioso has tragic results. This story is told in 4 sections: Overboard,
a traditional fic; Into the Ocean, songfic; The Guardian, a traditional
fic; and 2AM, a filk.
- (LJ link) Some
Body No Body Knows -- A sprig of angst, a dash of humor and just
a pinch of philosophy as Blair faces a dilemma. Did he see what he thinks
he saw while driving to the Cascade PD?
- (LJ link) Father
Knows Best? -- One of Blair's students has an over-protective,
angry and abusive father who decides he needs a target for his aggression
-- Blair.
